Thrifty White Pharmacy is a 100% employee‑owned, mid‑sized pharmacy chain serving small towns and cities across the rural Midwest. This position is not a traditional “fill‑and‑check” pharmacy job; pharmacists are expected to practice at the top of their license, providing clinical services and managing disease states.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, building loyalty and repeat business.
• Champion Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, and assist patients with enrollment.
• Lead the pharmacy team by modeling, coaching, and maintaining high standards in patient service.
• Structure and organize workflow and systems for efficient prescription filling, patient counseling, and delivery of clinical services.
• Develop and follow up on long‑term care (LTC) business through immediate communication and attention to the needs of nursing homes, group homes, and assisted‑living residences.
• Identify Long‑Term Care and Specialty business opportunities and communicate them with marketers.
• Dispense medications, related supplies, and provide all clinical pharmacy services.

Physical Demands

The position may require long periods of standing. While performing duties, the employee is frequently required to talk and hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, color, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Requirements

• Pharmacy license (or ability to obtain a license without any federal sanctions).
• PharmD or MTM certification (must provide a copy of the course completion certificate from an approved ACPE program).
• Current Immunization Certification.
• Current CPR Certification.
• NPI Number.
