Relief Operator

About the role

Join our team as a Relief Operator at our energetic milk plant in Denver, CO. You will operate equipment and provide relief coverage as required by management, managing multiple job responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. This role ensures quality never sleeps and is essential to our dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and handle multiple job responsibilities across various process functions.
• Respond to multiple activities with a conscientious and detail-oriented approach, prioritizing Safety, Quality, and Efficiency.
• Follow all safe work practices and adhere to plant “Good Manufacturing Practices.”
• Actively participate in team meetings, work activities, and process-improvement initiatives.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment to ensure quality product production in compliance with Company, Federal, and State guidelines.
• Familiarity with product testing procedures for QA samples from the line.
• Perform basic sanitation tasks required for production equipment (training provided for specific equipment).
• Accurately document process results, equipment downtime, and work orders using written and digital tools.
• Make minor adjustments to production equipment as needed.
• Qualify for forklift and/or pallet jack certification.

Requirements

• Experience working in a production environment, which may involve hot or cold conditions depending on the time of year and equipment location.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, ascending/descending stairs, and ladders.
• Ability to apply basic mechanical and troubleshooting methodology to the process.
• Basic math skills and reasoning ability for the work environment.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. at various times during the shift.
• Willingness to follow Standard Operating Procedures and Supervisor Instructions.
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Pay

$26.67/hour.
