Relief Operator

We are looking for a Relief Operator to join our Harleyville, SC location.

About the Role

• Safely operate and inspect quarry equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on crushing, conveying, packing, and shipping equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and drivers.
• Operate equipment including Skid Steer loaders, Front end loaders, Dozers, Excavators, Water Trucks, Fork Lifts, and Locomotives.
• Operate locomotive and load and move rail cars meeting standard operating procedures.
• Perform required PMs on packing and bulk shipping equipment to ensure equipment reliability.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 1-year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience.
• Equipment operation experience (loaders, dozer, excavator, haul trucks, etc.).
• Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
