Relief Operator - 3rd Shift

About the Role

As a Relief Operator in the Dyeing department, you will provide breaks to line operators and perform various tasks to support department operations.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for and give breaks to operators as needed
• Learn the correct procedures for all job tasks
• Perform other tasks as needed by the supervisor
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management

Requirements

• High School education or GED preferred
• Previous Dyeing Experience preferred
• Work experience or equivalent training providing knowledge of basic rules, procedures, or operations
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and interpret department operating standards
• Basic mathematics and weight measurement skills
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication abilities
• Lift truck certification
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to continuously lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to walk long distances, climb ladders, and stand for long periods
• Bending, crouching, reaching, kneeling, and stooping may be required
• Close vision, depth perception, and color perception required
• Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled facilities
• Work environment is a noisy, high-traffic production floor
• May be required to work a flexible schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to work in all types of weather
