Relief ER Veterinarian

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our team for relief work. We are a 19 doctor specialty/hybrid hospital that provides services 7 days a week. We are seeking an experienced ER veterinarian to support our ER team for weekends, nights and time off requests. 10 - 12 hr day evening./shifts available on an an intermittent relief basis.

Responsibilities

• Use your superior medical judgment combined with a high level of empathy, confidence and humility to build a loyal client base and heal pets.
• Work alongside a team of 19 doctors in a specialty/hybrid hospital providing 7 days a week services.
• Support the ER team for weekends, nights and time off requests.
• Provide care for pets under the supervision of licensed veterinarians.

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of practice.
• Experience in emergency medicine preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients and staff.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and nights.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited school.
• Passing score on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE).
