About the role

At EVCC, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Websites Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality veterinary websites that meet client needs and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom veterinary websites using industry-standard web technologies.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements for their website.
• Ensure all websites comply with ADA accessibility guidelines and other relevant legal standards.
• Regularly update and maintain existing websites to ensure they remain current and functional.
• Work closely with graphic designers and developers to integrate visual elements and functionality into websites.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for websites post-launch.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development and design.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies.
• Experience with content management systems such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and analytics tools like Google Analytics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in web accessibility standards and compliance.
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Understanding of database management and SQL.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
