Relief Emergency Veterinarian
About the role
SAVES, located in Lebanon, New Hampshire, is seeking experienced Emergency Veterinarians to join their per diem roster. Ideal candidates should have 2+ years of emergency-specific experience or internship training, comfort with soft tissue surgery, and the ability to manage various tasks such as managing in-patients, receiving outpatients, handling trauma, and performing surgeries. A collaborative, friendly, and positive demeanor is essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage in-patients, receive outpatients, handle trauma, perform surgeries, and other duties as needed.
- Wear multiple hats during a shift, including managing in-patients, receiving outpatients, handling trauma, performing surgeries, etc.
- Collaborate with other team members and maintain strong communication.
Requirements
Available for overnight coverage, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ emergency-specific experience or internship training.
- Comfortable being the solo doctor on the floor.
- Experience and interest in soft tissue surgery.
- Able to wear multiple hats in a shift.
- Collaborative, friendly, and positive demeanor.

Benefits
Open concept facility for personal bonding and workflow changes.
Pay
$125/hr for day shifts and $150/hr for overnight shifts, with potential for additional bonuses per shift.
Schedule
- Day shifts: 7:30am to 5:30pm
- Overnight shifts: 5:00pm to 8:00am
