About the role

As an Associate Veterinarian at VCA, you will:

Responsibilities

• Tailor treatment plans based on individual patient needs
• Conduct thorough examinations and diagnostic tests
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Communicate effectively with clients about their pets' health and care

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited school
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state where you will be working
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Passing scores on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
• Completion of a residency program in a specialty area (optional but encouraged)
