Responsibilities
- Develop work packages and create job kits to enable the Department craftsmen to perform quality planned jobs without delay.
- Ensure required parts, equipment, special tools, labor, permits, and drawings are available for each Job Plan.
- Work with area maintenance crews to achieve the physical assembly and delivery of planned job packages to perform job tasks without delay.
- Review craft feedback on completed Job Plans in order to continuously improve the quality of the job plans in the planners' library.
- Maintain 2-4 week ready to schedule backlog that is in alignment with production needs for areas of responsibility in order to maintain adequate planned work to schedule.
- Maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM’s) within the CMMS in order to allow for efficient identification of asset spare parts.
- Verify completed job packet for content accuracy. Use of daily management for kit status and tracking.
- Coordinate with storeroom personnel and procurement to ensure parts list is complete within the required time line.
- Use of daily management to track status of spares, including those being rebuilt, to insure proper stock.
- Perform regular reviews to identify obsolete parts.
- Coordinate with central Storeroom to remove parts no longer needed to keep stored stock valid and up to date.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in a technical field preferred
- 5-8 years of planning experience in an industrial setting preferred
- Experience with electrical / mechanical machine repair required
- Experience in a manufacturing facility required
- Demonstrated competency in estimating labor and costs required
- Demonstrated proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required
- SAP experience preferred
