About the role

Gallo South Carolina is offering a 6-month, full-time internship (40 hours per week) within the Maintenance departments. Interns will collaborate with engineers on projects in Reliability & Maintenance Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Reliability Maintenance standard.
  • Own and champion several Reliability Maintenance standards.
  • Manage planned and precision maintenance activities for assigned site assets.
  • Create preventative maintenance procedures, including tools and frequencies, for mechanical, electrical, and utility assets.
  • Establish maintenance and work standards.
  • Analyze storeroom stock levels.
  • Provide early project management support.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Management.
  • Available for the entire 6-month internship program (July–December 2027).
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs when necessary.
  • Ability to stand for long durations.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Junior or Senior class standing in a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering.
  • Strong applied technical and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and experience managing multiple assignments.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical inclination and aptitude for equipment design and manufacturing processes.

Pay

$27.25 per hour.
