Reliability & Maintenance Digital Transformation Senior Manager Architect - Downstream/Chemicals

Work you'll do
- Architect digital solutions that improve equipment reliability and maintenance strategies using predictive and preventive technologies
- Assess current-state plant maintenance processes and define future-state workflows to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime
- Develop technical solution designs using Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and digital twin technologies and integrate them into existing information technology environments
- Partner with clients and sales teams to quantify business impact, present solution demonstrations, and lead discussions with senior leaders on manufacturing and maintenance solutions
- Deliver complex projects in a fast-paced team environment while contributing to practice knowledge sharing and innovation
Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of experience in maintenance or reliability engineering in refining, chemicals, or mining
- Experience in refining and chemicals reliability and maintenance
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or enterprise asset management (EAM) systems such as SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) or Maximo, asset performance management (APM) platforms, or digital twin platforms
- Experience architecting digital solutions for maintenance and reliability transformation
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Preferred:
- Experience with asset criticality analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and reliability data analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, or Computer Science
- Prior consulting experience
- Software vendor certification
- Experience leading project teams in a client environment
Wage Range
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $171,600 to $338,300.
