Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Manage and implement PCMS inspection monitoring software for fixed equipment.
- Apply ASME and API codes in maintenance and capital projects.
- Develop and execute Inspection, Testing, and Preventive Maintenance (ITPM) plans.
- Use Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodology to prioritize schedules.
- Manage the relief device inspection and testing program.
- Create dashboards to monitor asset health for critical fixed equipment.
- Provide repair scopes using API 579 Fitness for Service assessments.
- Document inspection findings, recommendations, and funding needs.
- Work closely with reliability engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
- Report directly to the Reliability Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in reliability engineering within Chemical or Oil & Gas Refinery industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of ASME and API codes (ASME I, VIII, B31.1, B31.3; API 510, 570, 576, 653).
- Understanding of continuous operations in a PSM-covered chemical plant.
- Experience with PCMS or similar inspection monitoring software.
- Familiarity with relief device systems and mechanical integrity programs.
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Certifications
- API 510, 570, 581, and 653.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
