Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement PCMS inspection monitoring software for fixed equipment.
  • Apply ASME and API codes in maintenance and capital projects.
  • Develop and execute Inspection, Testing, and Preventive Maintenance (ITPM) plans.
  • Use Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodology to prioritize schedules.
  • Manage the relief device inspection and testing program.
  • Create dashboards to monitor asset health for critical fixed equipment.
  • Provide repair scopes using API 579 Fitness for Service assessments.
  • Document inspection findings, recommendations, and funding needs.
  • Work closely with reliability engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
  • Report directly to the Reliability Manager.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in reliability engineering within Chemical or Oil & Gas Refinery industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of ASME and API codes (ASME I, VIII, B31.1, B31.3; API 510, 570, 576, 653).
  • Understanding of continuous operations in a PSM-covered chemical plant.
  • Experience with PCMS or similar inspection monitoring software.
  • Familiarity with relief device systems and mechanical integrity programs.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • API 510, 570, 581, and 653.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
