Reliability Engineer
Location: Mobile, Alabama
About the role
Collaborate with reliability and operations teams to identify and resolve long-term asset issues and reliability threats. Analyze data from various sources to recommend and justify life-cycle cost and reliability improvements. Lead Root Cause Analysis for major failures to prevent recurrence. Support engineering, design, specification, and execution of projects to maximize reliability and operability. Review and update Standard Maintenance and Operating procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of five years’ experience in maintenance or reliability engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment such as compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, chillers, and piping systems
- Ability to interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and machinery drawings confidently
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies and technologies
