I‑care Reliability Inc. (part of I‑care Group) is the global leader in predictive and prescriptive maintenance, using AI, data analytics, and industrial expertise to predict machine failures months or years in advance. With over 1,000 employees, 35 offices in 16 countries, and monitoring more than 500,000 machines, we are expanding our U.S. operations team at multiple customer locations (e.g., Memphis, TN region). We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Reliability Engineer to identify and manage asset reliability risks, champion continuous improvement, and help extend equipment lifecycles while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
Responsibilities
- Support a culture of safety by adhering to OSHA regulations and plant environmental standards.
- Update and optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support the maintenance team.
- Compile failure data and production metrics to identify trends, assisting with methodologies such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Maintain accurate documentation for equipment lifecycles, critical spare parts, and reliability metrics.
- Utilize statistical tools and failure data to identify trends and eliminate production “bad actors.”
- Assist senior engineers and technicians in conducting Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to understand equipment breakdowns and prevent recurrence.
- Partner with capital project teams during design, installation, and commissioning phases to ensure reliability and maintainability of new and modified assets.
- Collect and help analyze data from condition‑based monitoring tools (e.g., vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including operations and maintenance, to learn plant processes and support troubleshooting efforts.
- Participate in training and shadowing opportunities to build foundational knowledge in precision maintenance and reliability engineering.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in reliability engineering, industrial manufacturing, or plant maintenance.
- Proven experience executing reliability methodologies, including FMEA, RCFA, and Fault Tree Analysis.
- High proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP, Maximo, or similar platforms.
- Theoretical knowledge of condition‑monitoring technologies and non‑destructive testing (NDT).
- Familiarity with relevant U.S. engineering and industry codes (e.g., ASME, API, ANSI).
