Responsibilities
- Manage the integration of validated software changes into manufacturing and EOL branches using disciplined multi-branch Git workflows.
- Cherry-pick, merge, and validate code changes while maintaining branch integrity and supporting release readiness.
- Execute Build Integrity and EOL test suites, analyze results, reproduce failures, and coordinate issue resolution with engineering teams.
- Tag, package, and publish validated software and firmware releases, including clear release notes and change logs.
- Protect homologation-sensitive branches by ensuring only validated changes are promoted into production-ready releases.
- Communicate daily release status, support go/no-go decisions, and coordinate cross-functional activities to keep releases on schedule.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working with Linux command-line environments and advanced Git workflows, including cherry-picking, conflict resolution, and multi-branch development
- Strong technical understanding of complex hardware and software systems
- Experience executing, analyzing, and triaging software or system-level tests
- Strong process discipline and excellent written communication skills
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional activities, manage priorities under time constraints, and exercise sound technical judgment
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with software release engineering, build engineering, integration, or manufacturing test environments within automotive, robotics, hardware, or similar industries
- Familiarity with CI systems, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, Docker, containers, or firmware deployment workflows
- Experience with Jira, structured release or change management processes, and embedded systems concepts such as CAN, Ethernet, or ECUs
