Release Governance Analyst

About the role

Primary Talent Partners has a contract opening for a Release Governance Analyst with a large power and utilities client in St. Petersburg, FL. This is a 12‑month contract with potential for extension. The position is a W2 contract (no PTO, no standard benefits) but an ACA‑compliant supplemental package is available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to work on Primary Talent Partners’ W2 without sponsorship. The analyst will support the Grid Technology Solutions (GTS) organization, which manages critical SCADA, ADMS, and grid operations technologies across multiple utility jurisdictions. As a key member of the Release Governance and Delivery team, the role coordinates large‑scale system deployments, upgrades, and production releases, requiring strong organizational skills, executive communication, attention to detail, and the ability to drive accountability across IT and business stakeholders. The analyst acts as the central coordinator for release readiness activities, ensuring leadership has clear visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and production release readiness.
