Responsibilities

  • Lead client management activities with clients and prospective clients; develop and execute a relationship management plan to acquire and retain clients.
  • Manage a book of business and be accountable for its growth through client expansion and new client acquisition.
  • Develop and execute strategies for proactively sourcing new relationships for the bank.
  • Own communication and contact with existing clients to ensure expansion opportunities are captured; consistently seek ways to expand external network for business development.
  • Coordinate with team to determine action plan through thorough discovery of client needs to deliver an exceptional client experience; consistently review needs assessment with clients to determine changes.
  • Apply working knowledge of all business segment capabilities and offerings; ensure strong client commitment and advocacy by delivering proactive and responsive service to meet client goals; hold team accountable for deliverables.
  • Manage risk through appropriate client selection and ensure service delivery is consistent with fees being charged; work with risk partners to escalate client concerns for quick resolution.
  • Apply working knowledge of partner offerings to make business-appropriate introductions; be accountable to partners for follow up and client communication after initial introduction.
  • Maintain timely, accurate and complete sales/client relationship management administration tasks as determined by the business; ensure execution of team processes such as pre-call planning, post-call debriefs and relationship reviews.

Qualifications

Roles at this level typically require a university/college degree with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
