Responsibilities

  • Oversee portfolio management and perform credit underwriting and loan administration duties within the Warehouse Lending team.
  • Support the team in managing both internal and external client relationships, conducting financial modeling and analysis, and driving deal execution for fintech warehouse facilities.
  • Support senior team members in ensuring controls are in place and help identify potential risks within the business unit as well as support or lead company prospecting efforts.

Qualifications

  • Portfolio Management and Risk Assessment: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned fintech warehouse lending clients. Support, monitor, and analyze client collateral credit performance for ABF transactions. Oversee Associate in preparing modeling and analysis for existing transactions. Mentor and coach junior team members on portfolio management best practices.
  • Credit Structuring and Underwriting: Analyze collateral tapes, client due diligence files, financial statements, business plans, and market conditions to assess credit risk. Lead investor due diligence calls, prepare and present credit memoranda and recommendations to approval committees. Negotiate terms and conditions with clients and legal counsel, balance risk and profitability, and ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with legal, operations, and other internal teams throughout the deal process.
  • Business Development and Strategic Initiatives: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the private credit direct warehouse lending sector. Participate in industry events and networking activities to build relationships. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic growth initiatives. Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes. Collaborate with senior team members on process improvements and product development.

Benefits

For New York or San Francisco, the base pay for this position is generally between $139,500.00 - $186,000.00. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
