Relationship Manager, Consumer and Retail - Institutional Client Group
About the role
The Institutional Client Group (ICG) at U.S. Bank cultivates clients' trust through customized service and access to the bank's resources and expertise. This role involves working with clients with revenue greater than $500 Million, handling and growing a complex portfolio of loans, prospecting for and closing new business relationships, retaining and expanding relationships with existing customers, selling appropriate bank products and services, and identifying and successfully capitalizing on One U.S. Bank.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting or other related field
- Typically 10 or more years of banking experience
- Subject matter expertise and experience working with clients in the consumer and retail sector
- Excellent sales management and business development skills with demonstrated results in supporting business development initiatives and driving new client acquisitions
- Significant knowledge and experience in managing and growing a large portfolio of mid and large corporate clients
- Demonstrated experience in building relationships and credibility with internal stakeholders (portfolio management/credit risk management/product partners)
- Strong knowledge of bank loan market (i.e., terms, pricing) and comfort with credit underwriting
- Experience with traditional bank operating products (treasury management, corporate card/payables, capital markets, trust and custody)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills

Pay
Base pay for this role usually falls within $200,000 to $300,000. Additional considerations regarding base pay levels are based on candidate qualifications.
Schedule
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
