About the role

The Relationship Manager at Fidelity helps facilitate relationships with the firm's most valuable clients. Key responsibilities include supporting the branch team, strengthening client relationships, organizing Financial Consultants, and ensuring daily activities align with client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the branch team by strengthening client relationships
  • Keep Financial Consultants organized

  • Facilitate targeted appointments that drive meaningful client engagement
  • Build long-lasting, meaningful relationships with clients
  • Collaborate with the Relationship Manager team company wide
  • Be responsible for the client contact strategy

Requirements

  • FINRA Series 7 & 66 licensed and hold appropriate state registrations, or able to acquire Series 66 upon hire
  • 1-3 years in financial services with an emphasis in providing an excellent customer experience
  • Planning experience and knowledge of financial markets and products
  • Strong social skills and the ability to deliver highly personalized service to each client
  • Ability to think creatively and make decisions with support from your team
  • Vested interest in being an advocate for clients
  • Professional communication style
  • Demonstrate coachability, collaboration, and curiosity as core strengths

Qualifications

  • Education and/or professional certifications are helpful; the firm offers a Tuition Reimbursement program to help you obtain one
  • Client-focused mindset and strong financial planning insight

Skills

The firm is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
