About the Role
The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of Commercial clients and developing strong business relationships that lead to commercial loans (Commercial and Industrial), deposits, and other banking products offered by the Bank. The role involves assisting with the management of the Center's sales and service efforts to ensure retention of existing relationships and growth of new relationships.
Responsibilities
- Comply with and stay abreast of all policies, procedures, federal, and state laws applicable to the job.
- Participate in all Center functions to contribute to the achievement of earnings and growth objectives.
- Actively engage in community and civic activities within the Center’s service area.
- Assist with managing the Center budget to meet deposit, loan, and net income goals.
- Work with the Manager to ensure proper implementation of Bank operating and lending policies.
- Follow and implement all Bank audit procedures.
- Assist in adhering to the Bank’s CRA policies and objectives within the Center’s service area.
- Support sales and service efforts to retain existing relationships and grow new ones.
- Manage personal sales efforts to meet Center goals.
- Demonstrate commitment to teamwork and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Four-year college or university degree; or three to five years of Commercial Banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.
- Proficiency in calculating figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and basic algebra/geometry concepts.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, calculator, and telephone.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.
Work Environment
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Pay
Salary Range: $154,579.00 to $228,004.00 annually.
