Job Details Description POSITION SUMMARY As a Relationship Manager Assistant, you will provide support to the Commercial Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers in the day-to-day administration of individual loan portfolios. You will work directly with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, other internal departments, clients and attorneys to process loans for closings. You will work directly with clients on service issues and daily account maintenance issues. The Relationship Manager Assistant will also track and collect exception items and work with the Relationship Manager on monitoring payment status of each individual portfolio. This role is highly visible in the Bank and requires a high level of professionalism and self-awareness. In this role, you are required to be extremely flexible to meet the overall demands of the department and ultimately the Bank. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent requiredTwo years of related experience and/or training preferredExperience in completing commercial real estate documents preferred COMPETENCIES Ability to listen and identify the needs and wants of a customerAbility to be service-oriented and a team playerAbility to think analytically and strategicallyPossess proficient computer skills and be familiar with Microsoft Office applicationsPossess initiative while being self-driven and results-orientedPossess proficient knowledge of bank products and servicesAbility to be a team player and assist staff with any and all duties as necessaryConsistently display a positive attitudeAbility to be self-motivated and self-sufficient with minimal management oversight or supervisionPossess professional communication skills when dealing with customers and other employees of the bankAbility to multi-task and often change focus quickly without being stressed or overwhelmedPossess acute attention to detailAbility to read and comprehend documents such as policies and procedures Duties And Responsibilities Provide support to commercial Relationship Managers on a daily basis with administration of their individual loan portfolioAssist Relationship Managers in the preparation of loan approval documentsAssist Relationship Managers with tracking daily overdraftsAccurately order attorney work and coordinate loan closingsComplete pre-loan preparation as outlined on Commercial Loan ChecklistsComplete loan closing preparation with accurately prepared and reviewed loan documentsAttend loan closings as neededProvide notary services as neededMonitor loans on an ongoing basisAssist clients with maintenance issues as needed for the loan relationshipAssist clients with service issues as needed including, but not limited to, wire transfers, stop payments and account transfersProvide customer support for Cash Management products including, but not limited to, remote deposit, mobile deposit, online banking and ACH productsTrack and collect exception itemsCoordinate the monitoring of payment status of a portfolio with the respective relationship managerProvide loan payoffs as requestedAccurately create and maintenance RMS recordsEstablish a professional presence in the community as a representative of the BankMaintain a professional appearance and dress and abide by the dress code Additional Duties Serve as the office/department first point of contact by greeting visitors, welcoming and directing them appropriatelyNotify company personnel of visitor arrivalProactively offer and accept messages as appropriate and deliver to recipient in a timely manner Maintain a safe, clean and presentable reception areaThe RM, PM, & RMA work together as a team in scheduling time out of the office to ensure no negative customer impactThe RMA vacation/personal time approval will be housed with the RMA SupervisorServe as backup to the Portfolio Manager as neededMaintain compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirementsConsistently support, uphold and model the organization’s core values and standardsComplete other duties as assigned as determined by management to be reasonable and beneficial Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to effectively communicate with customers, employees and management. Regular use of the telephone and email for communication is essential. Remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time is common. Must be able to accurately gather and process verbal and written information and properly prepare or inspect documents. Good manual dexterity is needed for the frequent use of common office equipment, such as computer terminals, calculators, copiers and telephones. Occasional travel to loan closings, sales meetings or overnight travel may be required.
