About the role

The Relationship Management Analyst (RMA) plays an important role in supporting the business development efforts of the Sales and Relationship Managers through sales support and research activities of prospects and clients. Through continual hands-on training and support/direction from manager, the RMA is expected to proactively study the Investor Services industry and BBH sales, relationship management and operational processes, with the intention of assuming the role of a Sales Manager or Relationship Manager in due course.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with relationship management efforts
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed proposals for Investor Services products
  • Attend client meetings as appropriate
  • Identify, recommend and create new tools for defining prospects (for Sales RMs)
  • Under supervision, create pro-forma profitability and revenue projections for new business bids for existing and new clients
  • Conduct and present detailed market and specific company research, including detailed profiling of current clients' businesses to identify current service providers, estimates of current fees, and product details for review by Relationship Manager
  • Remain knowledgeable of changing industry initiatives
  • Various other ad hoc assignments, including financial modeling with direction from manager
  • Responsible for creating, editing and monitoring all client account documentation within the team
  • Supports various ad hoc projects to document legal and operational requirements of clients
  • Produce client and prospect presentations as required
  • Assists Relationship Managers with the execution of the deliverables on the client's relationship plan as required
  • Responsible for the coordination of Due Diligence visits and questionnaires
  • Assist in the account opening process
  • Contribute to strategic planning and special projects by gathering information on market segments and clients as part of the sales and relationship plan

Qualifications

  • BS/BA required
  • 2 to 3 years Investor Servicing Industry experience preferred

Skills

  • Familiarity with Financial Institutions (banks, mutual fund managers, insurance companies etc)
  • Core Investor Services product knowledge
  • Communication skills with demonstrated presentation skills and excellent writing ability (writing sample required)
  • Strict attention to detail with proven ability to see open issues through to resolution
  • Ability to interact in a professional manner at all levels, both internally and externally to BBH
  • Ability to juggle several duties and troubleshoot while maintaining an upbeat personality
  • Ability to quickly learn about new products/materials
  • Strong client service skills for both external and internal purposes
  • Responsible for the preparation of KYC/AML documentation for new and existing relationships
  • BBHForce experience a plus but will train
  • Available to work overtime if needed
  • Some travel may be required in this role

Pay

Salary Range $65,000 - $90,000 + annual target bonus. BBH and its affiliates' compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range shown above is only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
