About the role

National Bank of Arizona is looking for a Relationship Banking Specialist to join Arizona’s #1 Community Bank at our Biltmore Corporate Office. This role supports a portfolio of commercial banking clients by handling routine servicing needs and providing administrative support to the commercial banking team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with assigned Relationship Manager(s) to assist commercial banking clients with inquiries on commercial loans, opening and maintaining depository services, and other bank products.
  • Establish depository accounts and additional services for commercial clients, process requests for loan advances or paydowns, deposit transfers, and wire transfers.
  • Perform service transactions such as address changes, check orders, issuing/activating ATM cards, accepting loan payments, supplying account balances, and performing stop payments.
  • Provide administrative support to the commercial banking team, including document and data entry into commercial loan tracking systems.
  • Support expeditious loan requests by collaborating with lending and middle office teams.
  • Gather pertinent loan due diligence items for lending teams.
  • Perform quality reviews of legal documentation, system data, and file maintenance requests.
  • Manage all loan post-closing activities and reporting requirements for the assigned portfolio.
  • Partner with management and other bank departments to research and resolve client issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of bank operations, customer service, administrative support, or directly related experience.
  • Preferred: 1+ years of lending experience, preferably in Commercial Lending.
  • Working knowledge of relationship banking concepts, including products, terminology, procedures, loan documentation, and systems related to servicing client needs.
  • Superior professionalism, as this is a “front-line” position with daily interaction with Executive Leadership.
  • Exceptional customer service skills for maintaining portfolios of “high-touch” Business Executives.

Schedule

Monday – Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm.
