About the role
The Relationship Banking Associate delivers high-quality customer service and responsiveness to ensure fulfillment and satisfaction of both internal and external customers. This individual processes routine transactions and related services accurately in accordance with policy and procedures, identifies and refers sales opportunities, and supports basic consumer deposit account opening.
Responsibilities
- Processes routine transactions and associated general customer and account servicing duties with a high level of accuracy and efficiency, including routine and non-routine teller transactions in accordance with policy and procedures (65% of time).
- Performs various administrative duties such as maintaining records, preparing forms and reports, and daily vault balancing.
- Engages in referral and relationship management in accordance with established objectives and goals.
- Adheres to security measures and controls to minimize potential losses to the company.
- Identifies customer opportunities through interactive and consultative conversations to assess and address customer needs (25% of time).
- Provides services including basic deposit account opening and referring customers to appropriate business partners.
- Conducts sales and service calls to existing and potential customers to ensure needs are met and to prospect new sales leads.
- Resolves customer issues and complaints while delivering a high level of responsiveness.
- Ensures fulfillment and customer satisfaction through direct personal action and additional support as needed.
- Participates in community events supporting the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) (5% of time).
- Performs other duties as assigned and required (5% of time).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Minimum one year of experience in related banking positions or equivalent sales/customer service experience.
Skills

- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer relations skills, including problem-solving and decision-making.
