About the role
This job is responsible for engaging clients in the lobby to educate and assist with conducting transactions through self-service resources, such as mobile banking, online banking, or ATM. Key responsibilities include accurately and efficiently processing cash transactions for clients as needed. You will have deep conversations with clients to gain in-depth knowledge of their financial and life priorities and connect them to solutions that meet their financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Engage clients in the lobby to educate and assist with self-service banking transactions (mobile, online, ATM).
- Accurately and efficiently process cash transactions for clients as needed.
- Conduct in-depth conversations with clients to understand their financial and life priorities.
- Connect clients to solutions that meet their financial goals.
- Identify solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs.
- Educate clients on how to conduct simple banking transactions through self-service technologies.
- Apply strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet clients' needs.
- Follow established processes and guidelines to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Manage time and capacity efficiently while focusing on results and client best interests.
- Be flexible to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent (minimum education requirement).
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and focus on results.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong relationships.
- Passion, commitment, and drive to deliver an improved client financial experience.
- Confidence in identifying and communicating solutions based on client needs.
- Comfortable engaging all clients and communicating effectively.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Adherence to established processes, guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications (Desired)
- Experience in financial services and knowledge of industry products and solutions.
- One year of demonstrated successful sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment with individual sales goals.
- Six months of cash handling experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or business-relevant Associate’s Degree (e.g., business management, business administration, or finance).
