Responsibilities

  • Perform cash handling transactions on the teller line.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and verify cash provided from/returned to the vault.
  • Assist in opening and closing the branch and vault daily; balance vault currency and coin; balance ATM.
  • Uncover important financial client needs and make recommendations to provide solutions to their unique financial situations.
  • Meet and exceed referral goals to different line-of-business partners.
  • Collaborate with supportive business partners to serve clients’ full financial needs as part of the OneJFG team.
  • Proactively deepen relationships and ensure client retention for a small portfolio of clients as you grow in the role.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required; advanced training/education a plus.
  • 3+ years of financial services experience; minimum 3 years of banking/lending experience required.
  • Strong lending experience and a proven sales track record with sales and referrals.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business partners to meet referral expectations.
  • Regularly refer across all business lines (insurance, treasury management, mortgage, commercial, etc.).
  • Possess and utilize advanced knowledge of all core products, loans, and investments.
  • Highest authority levels and approvals; ability to process the most complex interactions.
  • Coach/mentor other associates; may provide backup to manager.
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration will be obtained upon hire.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills with a genuine passion for helping people.
