Time
- 20% Responsible for opening accounts for customers and preparing new account paperwork and requesting the required identification.
- 20% Responsible for handling customer transactions and helping with account-related inquiries.
- 15% Responsible for identifying the needs of new and existing customers and offering appropriate products and services.
- 10% Responsible for assisting with internal controls and daily report follow-up as well as handling night depository deposits and other operational duties as assigned.
- 10% Responsible for consistently demonstrating the Bank's Right by You quality standards by providing a superior level of customer service.
- 10% Mitigate losses through work accuracy and adherence with Bank policies and procedures, internal controls and regulatory guidelines more fully described within the Bank Operations and Procedures Manual.
- 10% Responsible for achieving individual and/or team financial, production and relationship results relative to the specific metrics and goals assigned.
- 5% Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED with one year of banking experience and two years of cash handling and customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrates banking and product knowledge.
- Strong relationship and sales skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- A high level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
- Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
- Must complete teller training classes.
- Must complete product knowledge, account maintenance, and account opening training classes.
- Ability to pass a background check.
