Time

  • 20% Responsible for opening accounts for customers and preparing new account paperwork and requesting the required identification.
  • 20% Responsible for handling customer transactions and helping with account-related inquiries.
  • 15% Responsible for identifying the needs of new and existing customers and offering appropriate products and services.
  • 10% Responsible for assisting with internal controls and daily report follow-up as well as handling night depository deposits and other operational duties as assigned.
  • 10% Responsible for consistently demonstrating the Bank's Right by You quality standards by providing a superior level of customer service.
  • 10% Mitigate losses through work accuracy and adherence with Bank policies and procedures, internal controls and regulatory guidelines more fully described within the Bank Operations and Procedures Manual.
  • 10% Responsible for achieving individual and/or team financial, production and relationship results relative to the specific metrics and goals assigned.
  • 5% Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED with one year of banking experience and two years of cash handling and customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrates banking and product knowledge.
  • Strong relationship and sales skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • A high level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
  • Must complete teller training classes.
  • Must complete product knowledge, account maintenance, and account opening training classes.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
