Responsibilities

• Provides an exceptional customer experience on the cash line while handling customers' transactional needs.
• Handles customer inquiries regarding products and services and fulfills basic servicing requests.
• Develops relationships with customers, staying informed about their banking needs.
• Edits customers on standard consumer products and digital solutions, making banking easier.
• Aids branch and team members in resolving customer issues.
• Refers customers to internal experts for more complex financial needs.
• Adheres to bank processes and procedures, including completing duties delegated by the Branch Manager.
• Tracks hours worked and eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
• Conducts outbound phone calls to educate customers on emerging technology and assist with their financial needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
• Effective communication skills, both in person and through electronic channels.
• Computer proficiency, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor.
• Physical stamina to walk and stand for extended periods and lift up to twenty pounds.

Preferences

• One (1) year of banking, cash-handling, and/or customer service experience.
