About the role
Relationship Bankers build relationships with customers by meeting face to face and engaging them when and where they need to provide the best possible counsel. Strong client relationships are based on trust, assessing and attending to customers’ banking needs, obtaining and processing customer and account information, educating clients on available deposit and loan products and services, and recommending financial solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs. They are also responsible for originating and closing consumer loans, opening accounts, and opening and/or closing the branch.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships based on trust
- Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs
- Obtain and process customer and account information
- Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services
- Recommend financial solutions tailored to each customer’s unique goals and needs
- Originate and close consumer loans
- Open and manage customer accounts
- Open and/or close the branch as needed
Requirements
- National Mortgage Licensing Service (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, including ongoing compliance with all legal or regulatory registration requirements (e.g., maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Less than four years of job-related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training

Pay
The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
