The Relationship Banker I role at Regions is designed for individuals with prior teller, limited banking, or retail sales experience. The goal is to create meaningful personal connections with customers, improve their financial wellness, and offer guidance on banking options.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer experience on the cash line and handles transactional needs.
• Communicates with customers via phone and electronic channels, addressing inquiries and fulfilling basic servicing requests.
• Builds and maintains relationships with customers, staying informed about their banking history.
• Trains customers on digital banking solutions and assists with resolving complex financial issues.
• Supports branch operations by assisting with tasks and referring customers to internal experts.
• Tracks and reports on hours worked and complies with bank policies and procedures.
• Conducts outbound calls to educate customers on new technologies and financial needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed
• Handle cash and process cash transactions
• Communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels
• Use a computer frequently, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
• Walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Lift up to twenty (20) pounds
