About the role

The Relationship Banker I role at Regions is designed for individuals with prior teller, limited banking, or retail sales experience. The primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service, manage transactions, and assist customers in achieving their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller duties.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding products and services, including new/replacement cards, information changes, PIN resets, and check reordering.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, staying informed about their banking history and needs.
• Provide education on standard consumer products and digital solutions like mobile, online, and ATM services.
• Aid branch and team members in resolving customer issues and refer complex cases to internal experts.
• Comply with bank processes, procedures, and regulations, including following assigned tasks and reporting operational risks.
• Conduct outbound phone calls to educate customers on emerging technologies and assist with their financial needs.
• Track and report hours worked in excess of 40 per week and be eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Handle cash and process cash transactions.
• Communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels.
• Use a computer frequently, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor.
• Walk and stand for extended periods and lift up to twenty pounds.
