About the role

The Relationship Banker I role at Regions is designed for individuals with prior teller, limited banking, or retail sales experience. The primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service, manage transactions, and assist customers in achieving their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller duties.
• Answer customer inquiries and fulfill basic servicing requests like card replacements, PIN resets, and check orders.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, staying informed about their banking needs.
• Provide education on digital banking solutions and encourage the use of mobile, online, and ATM services.
• Aid branch colleagues in resolving customer issues and refer complex cases to internal experts.
• Adhere to bank policies and procedures, including following up on operational risks.
• Conduct outbound calls to educate customers on new technologies and assist with their financial needs.
• Track and report hours worked, eligible for overtime under FLSA.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed
• Handling cash and processing transactions
• Effective communication in various channels
• Computer proficiency, including typing and monitor usage
• Standing and lifting capabilities
