The Relationship Banker I role at Regions is designed for individuals with a passion for customer service and a desire to grow their career. This position focuses on providing exceptional customer experiences, enhancing financial wellness, and building long-term relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other typical teller activities.
• Answer customer inquiries and fulfill basic servicing requests such as card replacements, information changes, PIN resets, check orders, and simple problem resolutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, staying informed about their banking needs and preferences.
• Provide education on standard consumer products and digital solutions like mobile, online, and ATM services.
• Aid branch and team members in resolving customer issues and refer complex cases to internal experts.
• Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and regulations, including completing tasks delegated by the Branch Manager.
• Identify and report operational risks, and ensure sound banking practices.
• Conduct outbound phone calls to educate customers on emerging technology and assist with their financial needs.
• Track and report hours worked in excess of 40 per week, eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed
• Handling cash and processing cash transactions
• Communicating in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels
• Using a computer frequently, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
• Walking and standing for extended periods
• Lifting up to twenty (20) pounds

Pay and Benefits

The starting salary range for the Relationship Banker I position is $37,621.05 USD to $44,536.00 USD, with a target of $40,000 USD.
