About the role

USALLIANCE Financial is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our members and community. Relationship Banker I is responsible for the delivery of exceptional member experiences, implementing USALLIANCE’s sales and service standards by offering products and services to improve our members’ financial position. Represent USALLIANCE in the community and form lasting relationships with our members and partners. You will have teller-like responsibilities and personal banker-like responsibilities, acting as a universal banker.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and accurately perform member transactions and requests, via in person and on the phone, including but not limited to balance inquiries, deposits, withdrawals, funds transfers, loan payments and setting up online and mobile banking, and submitting new membership and loan applications.
• Demonstrate a knowledge of Credit Union products, services, policies, and procedures, including promotions and special offers, during member and employee interactions.
• Offer additional support to our Call Center when needed.
• Demonstrate working knowledge and understanding of the Credit Union’s sales and service standards, and cross-sell Credit Union products and services during every eligible member interaction.
• Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of Credit Union members and employee account and business information.
• Identify and communicate areas for continual improvement of business processes to support efficiency.
• Participate in branch outreach events and be an ambassador of USALLIANCE by participating in local community and SEG events.
• Travel to other branch locations as needed.
• Assist with vault / ATM custodian role.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year cash handling experience.
• Previous banking &/or contact center a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Great people skills with “can do” attitude and high energy level.
• Ability to multitask - manage multiple priorities and systems.
• Work independently and cooperatively with other credit union team members and departments.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and active listening skills.
• All positions must adhere to standard BSA/AML policies, procedures, and processes. Employees must demonstrate awareness of business functions and how business decisions affect financial and/or non-financial work results.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base hourly range for this position is $20.86 - $25.0
