Relationship Banker I

Principal Accountabilities

• Responsible for handling customer transactions and helping with account related inquiries (40%).
• Accurately maintaining and balancing cash drawers and vaults, and reconciling any discrepancies (15%).
• Identifying the needs of new and existing customers and offering appropriate products and services (10%).
• Assisting with internal controls and daily report follow-up, handling night depository deposits, and other operational duties as assigned (10%).
• Consistently demonstrating the Bank's Right by You quality standards by providing a superior level of customer service (10%).
• Mitigating losses through work accuracy and adherence with Bank policies and procedures, internal controls, and regulatory guidelines more fully described within the Bank Operations and Procedures Manual (10%).
• Responsible for achieving individual and/or team financial, production, and relationship results relative to the specific metrics and goals assigned (5%).

Basic Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED with one year of cash handling and customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong relationship skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• A high level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
• To maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
• To complete teller training classes.
• To pass a background check.
