Relationship Banker I

Principal Accountabilities

• Responsible for handling customer transactions and helping with account related inquiries.
• Responsible for accurately maintaining and balancing cash drawers and vault as well as reconciling any discrepancies.
• Identifying the needs of new and existing customers and offering appropriate products and services.
• Assisting with internal controls and daily report follow-up as well as handling night depository deposits and other operational duties as assigned.
• Mitigate losses through work accuracy and adherence with Bank policies and procedures, internal controls and regulatory guidelines more fully described within the Bank Operations and Procedures Manual.
• Responsible for achieving individual and/or team financial, production and relationship results relative to the specific metrics and goals assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED with one year of cash handling and customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong relationship skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• A high level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
• Must complete teller training classes.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Additional Qualifications

• Strong sales skills
