About the role
Join Mascoma Bank’s Retail Team as a Relationship Banker I and help us improve our clients' financial being. At Mascoma Bank, we aim to provide exceptional customer service while enhancing the lives of our customers and communities.
Responsibilities
- Aid customers with daily banking transactions, such as deposits and withdrawals.
- Build and enhance customer relationships by finding solutions to customer issues or suggesting ways to improve their financial lives.
- Support customers through our products and services to make banking easier for them.
- Guide customers through account opening and application processes and set expectations for managing finances.
- Demonstrate a helpful, friendly, positive attitude that makes customers happy with their choice of banking.
- Maintain a commitment to putting the Customer First in every interaction by owning the customer experience and striving for first contact resolution.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area and ensure that negotiable and confidential records are properly secured.
- Adhere to and uphold Mascoma Bank’s policies and procedures, including BSA/CIP and OFAC monitoring and reporting, security, operation, and personnel policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in problem-solving.
- A great, positive attitude and enjoys working with people on a team.
- Flexibility in job schedules and work locations including Saturdays and early morning drive-up hours.
- A professional appearance; grooming and dress consistent with Mascoma Bank’s appearance policy.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of customer information.

This position will be based out of our West Lebanon, NH branch.
