Responsibilities
- Handle transactional needs such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other typical teller transactions.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products and services, and fulfill basic servicing requests like new/replacement cards, information changes, PIN resets, and check reordering.
- Develop relationships with customers, stay informed about their banking history, and educate them on various banking solutions including mobile, online, and ATM options.
- Aid in resolving customer service inquiries by assisting branch members and referring customers to internal experts for more complex needs.
- Follow bank processes and procedures, comply with relevant laws and regulations, and manage operational risks.
- Conduct outbound phone calls to educate customers on emerging technologies and assist with their financial needs.
- Track and report hours worked in excess of 40 per week and be eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work Saturdays as needed
- Handle cash and process cash transactions
- Communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels
- Use a computer frequently, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
- Walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Lift up to twenty (20) pounds
