The Relationship Banker I role at Regions is designed for individuals with a passion for customer service and a desire to grow their career. This position focuses on providing exceptional customer experiences, enhancing financial wellness, and building meaningful relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle transactional needs such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other typical teller transactions.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding products and services, and fulfill basic servicing requests like new/replacement cards, information changes, PIN resets, and check reordering.
• Develop relationships with customers, stay informed about their banking history, and educate them on various banking solutions including mobile, online, and ATM options.
• Aid in resolving customer service inquiries by assisting branch members and referring customers to internal experts for more complex needs.
• Follow bank processes and procedures, comply with relevant laws and regulations, and manage operational risks.
• Conduct outbound phone calls to educate customers on emerging technologies and assist with their financial needs.
• Track and report hours worked in excess of 40 per week and be eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed
• Handle cash and process cash transactions
• Communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels
• Use a computer frequently, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
• Walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Lift up to twenty (20) pounds
