This role is a great entry point into branch banking, providing a strong foundation in banking fundamentals. Responsibilities

  • Perform cash handling transactions on the teller line.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and verify cash provided from or returned to the vault.
  • Assist in opening and closing the branch and vault daily; balance vault currency, coin, and ATM.
  • Uncover client financial needs and recommend solutions tailored to their unique situations.
  • Meet and exceed referral goals to different lines of business partners.
  • Collaborate with supportive business partners to serve clients’ full financial needs.
  • Maintain a small portfolio of clients to proactively deepen relationships and ensure retention as you grow in the role.
  • Adhere to the professional dress code, including wearing Johnson Financial Group logo apparel and name tags at all times (exceptions for religious or medical needs must be pre-approved by Human Resources).

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required; advanced training or education is a plus.
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration will be obtained upon hire.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills, with a genuine passion for helping people.
