We are seeking a full-time Relationship Banker to join our team at the Shrewsbury Branch. Responsibilities
- Offer excellent customer service, including greeting customers, using their name, and building rapport to foster customer loyalty.
- Serve as customers' primary point of contact for all UniBank products and services.
- Process a variety of teller and platform transactions quickly and accurately, minimizing errors.
- Cross-sell products and services, making appropriate referrals to other staff members and departments.
- Verify transactions and prove cash drawer upon completion of shifts to ensure compliance with UniBank Standards of Performance Policy.
- Open new accounts, certificates of deposit, and other products offered by the bank; answer customer questions, provide account opening information, and ensure proper paperwork is completed.
- Take consumer loan applications, focusing on cross-selling other bank products and services.
- Retain existing customers and develop new customer relationships.
- Implement and participate in sales strategies, including new products and services.
- Proactively resolve customer complaints.
- Work in a team setting on various projects, including employee contests, sales programs, etc.
- Adhere to established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Deliver strong community visibility by participating in local events and initiatives.
- Perform security functions, including opening and closing bank and vaults, ensuring safety and security of bank grounds.
- Manage cash drawer and complete necessary reconciliations.
- Support business development and outreach as directed by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred.
- Experience with cash handling, customer service, and sales required.
- Previous experience in retail banking preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, math, customer service, sales, and PC skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Pay
The estimated base hourly rate for this position is $21.00/hr to $25.00/hr. Final hourly offer will be determined based on a particular candidate's unique combination of factors such as skills, education, experience, and certifications.
