What You’ll Do
- Embrace SECU's brand and deliver financial education to members and communities
- Consult with members about banking needs and review current banking relationships
- Follow up with members about business loans
- Strategize with members to help save for college, a home, wedding, or other significant life milestones
- Attend business or community events to discuss financial literacy and SECU offerings
- Participate in SECU volunteer events and earn up to 12 hours paid time off per quarter
- Demonstrate engaging personality and ability to build emotional connections to nurture diverse, inclusive relationships and networks within SECU and the communities served
- Promote financial literacy, the credit union movement, and the talent brand
- Build member loyalty through passion for doing the right thing, empathy, compassion, authenticity, and knowledge of SECU banking products and services
What We're Looking For
- Consultative sales experience in a financial or banking industry role
- Proven record of accomplishment building customer loyalty and expanding financial literacy and well-being
- Demonstrated ability to attain goals through strong familiarity with retail banking products and services
Compensation
Based on experience, qualified candidates could be hired as a Member Advisor I or Member Advisor II:
- Member Advisor I/Relationship Banker I: Hourly Pay Range: Min. $21.35 – Max. $32.02
- Member Advisor II/Relationship Banker II: Hourly Pay Range: Min. $24.62 – Max. $39.42
- Final offer based on years of experience and education
