About the role
The Relationship Banker at FGB is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while performing a variety of banking functions. This role combines teller and personal banker responsibilities to provide a seamless customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
- Process routine banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
- Open new deposit accounts and related services and assist customers with account maintenance.
- Educate customers on digital banking tools and services.
- Support FGB sponsored Financial Foundations efforts to promote financial education in the communities we serve.
- Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate banking solutions.
- Maintain compliance with bank policies and procedures.
- Support branch sales goals through proactive customer engagement.
- Assist with branch operations and administrative tasks as needed.
- Adhere to BSA/AML policy and all other bank policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
- 1 year of customer service experience required.
- 6 months of cash handling experience required.
- Previous banking strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and banking systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Bilingual Preferred
