About the role
This position is responsible for engaging clients in the lobby to educate and assist with conducting transactions through self-service resources, such as mobile banking, online banking, or ATM. Key responsibilities include accurately and efficiently processing cash transactions for clients as needed. You will have deep conversations with clients to gain in-depth knowledge of their financial and life priorities and connect them to solutions that meet their financial goals. The specific Financial Center location will be based on business needs, and you may train at one financial center before potentially moving to another within a reasonable commuting distance of your home.
Responsibilities
- Execute the bank's risk culture and strive for operational excellence.
- Build relationships with clients to meet financial needs.
- Follow established processes and guidelines in daily activities to do what is right for clients and the bank, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Grow business knowledge and network by partnering with experts in small business, lending, and investments.
- Manage financial center traffic, appointments, and outbound calls effectively.
- Drive the client experience.
- Manage cash responsibilities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and intense focus on results, acting in the best interest of the client.
- Ability to collaborate effectively to get things done and build strong relationships.
- Passion, commitment, and drive to deliver an experience that improves clients’ financial lives.
- Confidence in identifying solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs.
- Effective and confident communication skills, comfortable engaging all clients.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms.
- Confidence in educating clients on conducting simple banking transactions through self-service technologies (e.g., ATM, online banking, mobile banking).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet clients’ needs.
- Willingness to follow established processes and guidelines in daily activities.
- Efficient time and capacity management.
- Flexibility to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in financial services and knowledge of the financial services industry, products, and solutions.
- One year of demonstrated successful sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment with individual sales goals.
- Six months of cash handling experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or business-relevant Associate’s Degree such as business management, business administration, or finance.
