About the role
The Adult Residential Treatment Center (RTC) provides services for persons ages 18 and older with serious mental illness, including individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders or development disabilities. Our teams craft individualized plans for the residents to reach the highest level of recovery possible.
Responsibilities
- Act as a residential counselor, working one-on-one with clients to learn or regain skills for successful community and independent living and socialization.
- Ensure medication compliance, involving responsibility for safety, dosage, and cleanliness.
- Work as part of a collaborative service team to develop and implement individual service plans.
- Provide transportation and attend clients' medical appointments, advocating for them throughout the appointment and ensuring follow-up instruction is documented and followed through on.
- Develop a rapport with clients, becoming part of their trusted support system, and cheering them on as they progress in their recovery.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- The willingness to obtain additional certifications and trainings as required.
- A valid driver's license with 3 points or less and access to an insured vehicle.
- Availability to work, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on the needs of the program.
Qualifications
All direct care staff will be thoroughly trained to provide all services and should expect supportive and ever-present mentorship from senior staff members as they perform the requested duties.

Pay
The pay rate for this position is $19.31 hourly.
