Rehabilitation Director
About the Role
Eaton County Health & Rehabilitation Services (ECHRS), a 5-Star skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, is seeking a Rehabilitation Director to build, lead, and innovate an in-house rehabilitation program. This role goes beyond traditional therapy leadership by allowing you to shape the program, develop your team, and co-lead rehabilitation care alongside Rehabilitation Nursing. The position breaks down silos, fosters collaboration between therapy and nursing, and focuses on holistic, patient-centered care as "One Team."
The Rehabilitation Director will also play a key role in quality outcomes, functional improvements, skilled services, and reimbursement. You’ll work collaboratively with Nursing and Reimbursement teams to support appropriate skilled length of stay, strong documentation, PDPM and GG processes, authorizations, appeals, and ensuring patients receive the Medicare services they’re entitled to.

Responsibilities
- Lead and shape an in-house rehabilitation program, developing the team and culture to align with ECHRS’s vision.
- Co-lead rehabilitation care cross-functionally with Rehabilitation Nursing, breaking down silos to provide holistic, patient-centered care.
- Drive quality, functional outcomes, and skilled services to support patient recovery and facility standards.
- Collaborate with Nursing and Reimbursement teams on PDPM, GG processes, documentation, authorizations, and appeals to ensure appropriate skilled length of stay and Medicare compliance.
- Foster a "People First, One Team" culture that encourages innovation, knowledge-sharing, and ownership.
