Rehabilitation Clinical Support Associate - Ball Memorial - Full Time Days
Schedule
40 hours per week, 5 days of 8 hours each. Hours are Monday–Friday between 6:45 am and 6:00 pm; no weekends or holidays.

About the role
This position oversees patient flow from point of entry to destination, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional services. It is responsible for the accurate resolution of patient accounts, including generating financial and demographic records, insurance verification, prior authorization, and coordination of benefits. The role involves communicating with payers and patients to secure accurate financial information, registering patients, scheduling recurring appointments, answering incoming calls, and directing patients and visitors. Participation in operational aspects of the department, performance improvement activities, infection control, equipment training, regulatory compliance, and safety programs is required. The position also manages departmental supplies and adheres to productivity, quality, and service standards.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling recurring patient appointments
- Patient check-in
- Handling phone calls, messages, and paging
- Managing wait lists
- Obtaining and verifying insurance and demographic information
- Coordinating benefits and securing prior authorizations
- Resolving patient accounts and communicating with payers
- Participating in departmental operations, performance improvement, and compliance activities
- Maintaining infection control, safety, and equipment training programs
- Ordering, distributing, and managing departmental supplies
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- 0–3 years of customer service or medical experience (desired)
- Minimum one year of medical office experience or a combination of extensive customer service work experience and education in insurance verification, patient registration, and medical terminology (preferred)
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
