Rehabilitation Aide

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Rehabilitation Aide to join our team at Adira at Riverside in Yonkers, New York. You will play a vital role in supporting our patients' recovery journey, providing exceptional care, and assisting our therapy team with daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with therapy activities, including preparing hot/cold packs, setting up machines, and assisting with exercises
• Perform clerical tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records
• Provide exceptional patient care support, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for our patients
• Maintain a high level of organization, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Collaborate with our therapy team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow
• Demonstrate a strong interest in physical therapy, healthcare, or fitness, with a willingness to learn and grow in this field

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting or related field preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Friendliness, reliability, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
