Rehab Therapy Tech/Van Driver

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and maintain a safe working environment.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate to therapists on outcomes/observations of patient care activities.
• Help transfer patients to and from facility via the facility van and assist in maintenance of the van when complete.

Requirements

• CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completed elements required for clinical ladder Rehab Tech or equivalent training in school or on-the-job training.
• Valid driver's license appropriate for the heaviest class vehicle to be driven.
• CPR and First Aid Training.
• Previous transportation experience required.
• Must be at least 25 years of age.

Qualifications

License/Certification: CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
