About the role

Join Encompass Health, a rapidly growing national inpatient rehabilitation leader, where you can make a meaningful impact on patient rehabilitation. As a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I, you'll play an integral role in supporting therapists and delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and maintain a safe working environment.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate to therapists on outcomes/observations of patient care activities.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completed elements required for clinical ladder Rehab Tech I or equivalent training in school or on-the-job training.
